The Transparency Benchmark is an annual research on the content and quality of corporate social responsibility reports of Dutch companies. In the review of 2016 a.s.r. rises from place 136 to 60. This improvement is due to a clear report of not only the CSR policy itself but also the results. Furthermore the accountant has audited the a.s.r.-report, which greatly increases the reliability.

The government requires companies to be transparent about their CSR policies and activities.

Due to the Transparency Benchmark the Ministry of Economic Affairs provides insight into the manner in which the largest Dutch companies report about their CSR activities. The Transparency Benchmark is performed every year.
